Maryland graduate students in speech-language pathology and audiology programs are offered a discounted membership with MSHA per year. Membership is a rolling year: Join online or contact the MSHA office if you need assistance. 

If you have a student email address at a Maryland university, your membership will be automatically approved. If you are using a personal email address, please scan a copy of your student ID to the MSHA office for student verification. The email address is

Founded in 1964, the Maryland Speech-Language-Hearing Association (MSHA) is a nonprofit organization representing nearly 4,000 licensed professionals with advanced degrees in speech-language pathology and audiology. Reflecting the cultural diversity of our state, MSHA represents professionals sensitive to the diverse needs of all citizens in need of member services. MSHA is recognized as the official professional organization for Maryland speech-language pathologists and audiologists by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
